This website provides general information about VON BOHLEN HALBACH SFO FZ-LLC (the “Family Office”), the entities around it and their activities. It is not addressed to the general public as investors.
2. No offer, no advice
Nothing on this website is an offer, an invitation or a solicitation to buy, sell or subscribe for securities, financial instruments, carbon units, commodities, shares in any company or vehicle, or any other investment, or to enter into any transaction, in any jurisdiction. Nothing on this website is investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and nothing takes account of the circumstances of any particular person.
3. Regulatory status
The Family Office is a free zone company licensed by the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), United Arab Emirates, under Services Licence No. 47019557 for the activity Single Family Office. It manages exclusively the assets of the von Bohlen und Halbach family. It is not a bank. It is not licensed or supervised as a financial institution by the Central Bank of the UAE, the Capital Market Authority (CMA) of the UAE, the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of Abu Dhabi Global Market, the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) or any other financial supervisory authority.
The Family Office does not accept deposits, does not lend to the public, does not manage assets for third parties, does not arrange or broker investments and does not promote financial products.
4. Separate legal entities
VON BOHLEN & HALBACH CIE. FZ LLC, the INSTITUTO CLIMÁTICO VON BOHLEN & HALBACH and FRAMAZONIA FZCO are legally separate entities with their own governing bodies, obligations and liabilities. Statements on this website about them are made for information and do not bind them. The Instituto Climático is a non-profit institute; it is not a subsidiary of the Family Office.
5. Counterparties
The Family Office and the entities around it deal with governments, public institutions and professional counterparties whom they know or who approach them on their own initiative. They do not deal with retail clients or consumers. Using this website or sending an inquiry does not create a client, advisory, fiduciary or other contractual relationship. Any engagement requires a written agreement and the prior completion of identification and source-of-funds checks.
6. Territorial restrictions
This website is not directed at persons in any jurisdiction in which its publication or availability is restricted by law. In particular, it is not directed at US persons and is not a marketing communication for any fund, product or service in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.
7. xanalyse research
The research format xanalyse is published by the Family Office under separate terms, risk warnings and conflict-of-interest disclosures at xanalyse.ae. Dossiers may contain investment recommendations within the meaning of Article 3(1)(35) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014; the disclosures required for them are contained in each dossier. This website refers to that research but does not reproduce or update it. Any assessment in a dossier applies at its stated cut-off date.
8. Climate programmes, names and marks
Descriptions of climate activities describe the nature of the work. They are not environmental claims about any product, service or company. “Seleção Carbono Neutra” is the name of a programme of the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol; its scope, method and results are those published by the CBF on its own platform. The issuance, authorisation and transfer of mitigation outcomes depend on host-country decisions, independent verification and the rules of the applicable standard. Statements about future activities rest on assumptions that may prove wrong.
References to the Mozambique Carbon Market Framework describe an agreement and a structure in formation. Sovereign decisions, including authorisations under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, are reserved to the Republic of Mozambique. No regulated activity is carried on in or from Abu Dhabi Global Market without the licence required for it.
Names and marks of third parties, including those of the CBF and of sporting events, belong to their owners and are used only to describe the facts stated. This website is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any organiser of a sporting event.
9. Liability
The content of this website has been prepared with care. The Family Office gives no warranty that it is accurate, complete or up to date and may change or withdraw it at any time. To the extent permitted by law, the Family Office is not liable for loss arising from the use of this website or from reliance on its content. Liability for wilful misconduct, for gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and any liability that cannot be excluded by law remain unaffected.
Links to third-party websites were checked when they were set. The Family Office has no influence over their later content and does not adopt it as its own.
10. Intellectual property
Texts, layout and the wordmark of this website are protected. Reproduction, distribution or automated extraction, including for the training of AI systems, requires the prior written consent of the Family Office. Quotation with a clear reference to the source is permitted.
11. Governing law
The use of this website is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which a consumer is habitually resident remain unaffected.

Es verwaltet ausschließlich das Vermögen der Familie von Bohlen und Halbach. Es ist keine Bank. Es ist weder von der Zentralbank der VAE noch von der Capital Market Authority (CMA) der VAE, der Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), der Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) des Abu Dhabi Global Market, der Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (BaFin) oder einer anderen Finanzaufsichtsbehörde als Finanzinstitut zugelassen oder beaufsichtigt.
Das Family Office nimmt keine Einlagen entgegen, vergibt keine Kredite an das Publikum, verwaltet kein Vermögen für Dritte, vermittelt keine Anlagen und bewirbt keine Finanzprodukte.
4. Rechtlich selbständige Einheiten
Die VON BOHLEN & HALBACH CIE. FZ LLC, das INSTITUTO CLIMÁTICO VON BOHLEN & HALBACH und die FRAMAZONIA FZCO sind rechtlich selbständige Einheiten mit eigenen Organen, Pflichten und Verbindlichkeiten. Aussagen dieser Website über sie dienen der Information und binden sie nicht. Das Instituto Climático ist ein gemeinnütziges Institut; es ist keine Tochtergesellschaft des Family Office.
5. Gegenparteien
Das Family Office und die Einheiten in seinem Umfeld arbeiten mit Regierungen, öffentlichen Institutionen und professionellen Gegenparteien, die ihnen bekannt sind oder die auf eigene Initiative an sie herantreten. Mit Privatkunden oder Verbrauchern arbeiten sie nicht. Durch die Nutzung dieser Website oder das Absenden einer Anfrage entsteht kein Mandats-, Beratungs-, Treuhand- oder sonstiges Vertragsverhältnis. Das Research-Format xanalyse wird vom Family Office zu gesonderten Bedingungen, Risikohinweisen und Offenlegungen von Interessenkonflikten unter xanalyse.ae herausgegeben. Dossiers können Anlageempfehlungen im Sinne des Art. 3 Abs. 1 Nr. 35 der Verordnung (EU) Nr. 596/2014 enthalten; die dafür erforderlichen Offenlegungen stehen im jeweiligen Dossier. Diese Website verweist auf dieses Research, gibt es aber weder wieder noch aktualisiert sie es. Jede Einschätzung in einem Dossier gilt zum dort genannten Stichtag.
8. Klimaprogramme, Namen und Marken
Beschreibungen der Klimaaktivitäten beschreiben die Art der Tätigkeit. Sie sind keine Umweltaussagen über ein Produkt, eine Dienstleistung oder ein Unternehmen. „Seleção Carbono Neutra“ ist der Name eines Programms der Confederação Brasileira de Futebol; Umfang, Methode und Ergebnisse sind die von der CBF auf ihrer eigenen Plattform veröffentlichten. Ausgabe, Autorisierung und Übertragung von Minderungsergebnissen hängen von Entscheidungen des Gastlandes, unabhängiger Verifizierung und den Regeln des jeweiligen Standards ab. Aussagen über künftige Aktivitäten beruhen auf Annahmen, die sich als unzutreffend erweisen können.
Hinweise auf das Mozambique Carbon Market Framework beschreiben einen Vertrag und eine Struktur in Gründung. Hoheitliche Entscheidungen, darunter Autorisierungen nach Artikel 6 des Pariser Abkommens, sind der Republik Mosambik vorbehalten. Im oder aus dem Abu Dhabi Global Market wird keine regulierte Tätigkeit ohne die dafür erforderliche Lizenz ausgeübt.

11. Anwendbares Recht
Für die Nutzung dieser Website gilt das Recht der Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate in der im Emirat Ras Al Khaimah geltenden Fassung. Zwingende Vorschriften des Staates, in dem ein Verbraucher seinen gewöhnlichen Aufenthalt hat, bleiben unberührt.
